Osman
Mardin

Osman
is a Managing Director at SARDIS. Osman joined SARDIS from
Robertson Stephens where he was employed from 1998-2002. At
Robertson Stephens, Osman was a Managing Director and a member
of the firm's European Management Committee, as well as the
Head of European Mergers and Acquisitions and the Head of
the European Hardware Systems Investment Banking Group. Prior
to joining Robertson Stephens, Osman was Executive Director
of Lazard Freres & Cie., Paris, where he worked for 11
years on cross-border M&A. Osman holds a B.A. in Economics
from Trinity College, Cambridge, and an M.B.A. from Harvard
Business School. Completed over 70 transactions, with combined
valuation over $15 billion. Representative assignments before
SARDIS: Infineon – acquisition of Catamaran; Systemonic
(a) acquisition of Raytheon's RF Business, and (b) sale of
company to Philips; NoWiresNeeded – sale to Intersil;
Novanet – sale to Conexant. |

Nick Mitsakos

Nick is a Managing Director at SARDIS. Resident in San Francisco, he brings to SARDIS an invaluable breadth of experience, across advisory, management, and investment functions in the communications sector. Nick’s representative achievements encompass Intervu (co-founder and COO; NASDAQ-quoted data-networking company, acquired by Akamai Technologies for US$ 3 billion), Berkeley Networks (acquired by FORE Systems for $250 million), Maverick Networks (acquired by Broadcom for $120 million), Wireless Home (acquired by Western Multiplex for $50 million), and ConvergeNet (acquired by Dell for $350 million). Currently, Nick is a board member of Meru Networks and Bridgewave Communications, both focused on wireless. He holds a BS in Computer Science and Microbiology from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Harvard University. |

Dr. Karsten Rönner

Karsten
is a Managing Director at SARDIS. He gained his international
credentials from over 17 years in R&D, sales & marketing,
and general management, mostly in the semiconductor business.
Karsten joined SARDIS from Systemonic AG, where he was Executive
VP and member of the management board. Prior, he held various
key positions with Infineon Technologies and Siemens in Germany,
Japan, and Silicon Valley and was an industrial visiting scientist
at Berkeley University. In the course of his career, Karsten
contributed to the growth of businesses from infancy to hundreds
of million dollars in revenue, and led international investment
& acquisition projects, among those Systemonic's acquisition
of Raytheon's RF Business, the sale of Systemonic to Philips
and the investment of Infineon in Aristos Logic. He holds
a Masters Degree in physics and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering,
both from University of Hannover, Germany. |

Benjamin Sommer

Benjamin
is a Principal at SARDIS. Benjamin joined SARDIS from
Robertson Stephens where he was a member of the European Mergers
and Acquisitions Team and the European Hardware Systems Investment
Banking Group. A German national, Benjamin holds a European
Master's in Management, a British MSc., a French Diplome de
Grandes Ecoles and a German Diplom-Kaufmann from the ESCP-EAP.
He also holds a Law degree from the Universite Paris XI. Benjamin
is Fluent in English, German and French. Completed transactions
in 2005 include: the sale of Inventel to Thomson, the sale
of Oasis SiliconSystems to SMSC and Navigon's 25% share participation
by General Atlantic. |

Louis Jeng

Louis
is an Associate at SARDIS. He re-joined SARDIS in January
2007, having already worked as an Intern in 2004, specializing
in the semiconductor area. Louis previously worked at EFG
Eurobank, a subsidiary of EFG International in Switzerland,
as a relative value trader specializing in derivatives
on interest rates and FX of G10 and Eastern European economies.
He also managed a cash portfolio valued at €2 billion.
Prior to that, he was an analyst at EFG Private Bank, London
where he worked on structured products. He graduated from
the University of Manchester (UMIST) with First Class Honours
in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and also holds
a M.Sc. in Finance from Imperial College, London. He speaks
fluent English, Mandarin and has a working knowledge of
Cantonese. |

Barnaby Clark

Barnaby
is an Associate at SARDIS, and joined in February 2007. Barnaby
previously worked in Paris for the performance management
software company Cartesis, where he was the Corporate Sales
Business Analyst. He is proficient in several software
programming languages, including VBA, SQL and HTML, and
whilst at Cartesis he developed two web based applications
in .NET that worked alongside their CRM to provide key
statistical data. Barnaby studied European Business at
the University of Portsmouth and the Bordeaux Ecole Supérieure
de Commerce. Barnaby is fluent in English and French. |
