Over a career of nearly 30 years, Osman has served numerous US and European Corporations, Investors, and Entrepreneurs on Strategic Advisory, Mergers&Acquisitions and Private Financings, specialising in the last 20 years on the Communications, Media, and Financial Technology sectors. Prior to founding SARDIS in 2002 in London, Osman held various roles at Robertson Stephens from 1998-2002 (San Francisco and London), as Managing Director and member of the firm's European Management Committee, as well as Head of European M&A and also of European Hardware Investment Banking. Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, Osman was Executive Director of Lazard Freres & Cie. (Paris), where he worked for 11 years on cross-border M&A. Osman has completed over 70 transactions, with combined valuation over $17 billion.
Osman holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College, Cambridge, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
He is fluent in English, Turkish, French, and German.
